Loving the life I never imagined

I never imagined that I'd be one of *those* moms - I had never heard of babywearing. I thought midwives were a thing of the past. I never imagined I'd be a mom in the first place. Now I'm on the other side --I home waterbirthed my son in April 2010. My life is forever changed, and forever changing. This is my journey. Come along and learn with me!

Reading List...Lighter Fare

For fun, Light Reading:
Baby Catcher: Chronicles of a Modern Midwife by Peggy Vincent

I loved this book. If I had time, I would re-read it now.  Peggy shows the good side of what natural birth CAN be.  I think books like this should be required reading for obstetricians.
Rattled: A Memoir by Christine Coppa

True story -- city girl gets pregnant...blogs/writes about it.  Easy to relate to.
Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy

Hilarious! This was a quick read.  I think I started it in Manhattan and finished it by the end of my bus ride home. Granted, I was slower moving at 6 months pregnant than regular person speed.
